  • The Claudina agrias lives in the deciduous and evergreen forests of South America, from Venezuela and Guyana to Bolivia. This species spends most of their lives high in the canopy, and are normally only observed when resting or feeding closer to the forest floor. These butterflies love to feast on rotting fruits and mammal dung, with females preferring the taste of rotting fruit and fish.
